It's the very first in a series of country music concerts LIVE, AND RIGHT HERE IN LADNER!

Adventures in Pedal Steel features some of the very best country players in the Vancouver area, with Scott Smith/pedal steel,/Paul Pigat/guitar, Liam MacDonald/drums, Jeremy Holmes/bass and for one night only, very special guest country vocalist Marin Patenaude.

Scott Smith has been one of the key guitar and pedal steel players in Vancouver’s country and roots rock scenes for a couple decades, playing with Canadian stars like Aaron Pritchett and Barney Bentall and appearing on hundreds of albums. Smith’s popular monthly show, Adventures in Pedal Steel at The Painted Ship in Vancouver spotlights the pedal steel in all kinds of genres, from country, soul, indie-folk, and gospel, to wherever its beautifully arcing, aching shimmer can be found. For this show at Lighthouse Church on Sat Feb 7, 2026, Smith and the band will be doing a night of Country Classics, performing songs by Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Buck Owens, Emmylou Harris and more. Featuring the incredible Marin Patenaude on vocals and the fleet fingered Paul Pigat on guitar and vocals, this will be a show you won’t want to miss.
