Overview

Join us to learn about OJS enhancements from the CRAFT-OA project.

CRAFT-OA is a 3-year European initiative dedicated to strengthening the Diamond Open Access publishing ecosystem through technical innovations, community tools, training, and services. As part of this mission, the CRAFT-OA team has delivered significant core feature enhancements for Open Journal Systems (OJS) that benefit the global community of OJS users.

Join us for an engaging session with Antti-Jussi Nygård from the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies and PKP, as he showcases the latest advancements and upcoming features in OJS. You’ll see live demonstrations of improvements designed to make publishing more inclusive, interoperable, and future-ready, including:

  • Multilingual publishing improvements: Enhanced support for small and regional languages, plus language-specific URLs (OJS 3.5).
  • Metadata innovations:  Integration of controlled vocabularies, enhancements to contributor metadata, and support for data citations (OJS 3.6).

Register now to learn about these exciting updates and how they can streamline and improve your publishing practices in OJS.

This webinar will be recorded and shared with the public. The hosts will disable microphones and video screens, and there will be opportunities for questions and comments. AI bots are not permitted and will be removed from the meeting.
