Workshop Description:

The aerospace industry is currently facing the double challenge of an unprecedented sanitary crisis coupled with ecological disorder that is pushing the industry to evolve and expand in ways that will impact the aerospace ecosystem significantly. Fields such as hybrid combustion, alternative fuels, and application of artificial intelligence in the sector, amongst other forms of research and application are emerging. Any graduate looking to start a career in this rapidly transforming aerospace sector will have to demonstrate an ability to adapt and self-learn. Embracing a growth mindset is now more important than ever.

In this workshop, you will learn about the research on how to evolve your mindset in order to intentionally develop greater resilience while getting smarter every day.

Facilitator: Megan Webster, B.A.H., B.Ed, M.A., and Ph.D

Megan is an instructional coach, a teacher educator, and professional development (PD) consultant. In partnership with scholars at Vanderbilt University and the University of Washington, Megan supported two major urban school districts in the U.S. who aimed to radically improve instruction in their districts. Megan now coaches consultants, principals, and educational leaders in school boards across Quebec. In recognition for her work as a teacher, she was awarded the Prime Minister’s Teaching Award. Megan brings great energy, humor, passion, and rigor to the work before her; participants leave sessions with her empowered and ready for action.
