To enroll in this training you need to have successfully completed CWICE 101 thru 107

The Child Welfare Immigration Centre of Excellence (CWICE) has developed a knowledge base surrounding the intersection of child welfare practice and unresolved immigration, settlement, and border-related issues. This certificate-training series has been designed for child welfare professionals to bring awareness, build knowledge capacity in practice, and promote equitable outcomes for children, youth, and families.

CWICE 108 focuses on practices within child welfare to promote and ensure equitable outcomes for children, youth, and families. This knowledge-based learning will support the growth and continued development of child welfare practice. This one day (or two half day) session(s) will review social determinants of health and its impact on immigrants, the barriers faced by individuals and families, the role of CWICE including recommended approaches and practical application through case studies.

This is a two-part virtual session.

Once you have completed this final training module, you will receive a certificate for the series.
