Daf Workshop: Discover the Rhythms of Persian Percussion

Join us for a vibrant and hands-on daf workshop where rhythm meets tradition. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some musical experience, this workshop offers a welcoming space to connect with the soulful beats of Persian music.

Led by a passionate instructor Reza Fateh, you’ll learn basic techniques, rhythmic patterns, and traditional beats — all while experiencing the meditative and communal joy that the daf brings.

• Introduction to the daf and its cultural background
• Step-by-step guidance on hand positioning and basic rhythms
• Live demonstrations and group practice
• A chance to explore rhythm as a form of expression and mindfulness
• Instruments provided for practice (or bring your own!)
