This foundational workshop targets health care professionals with basic therapy experience or knowledge of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), specifically those interested in learning how to implement DBT either as an adjunct to other treatment approaches, or within a broader healthcare context.

Does this training count toward Continuing Education Credits?

Accepted Answer

OPTI is approved by the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) to offer continuing education for psychologists. OPTI workshops are also approved by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) to offer continuing education credits for psychotherapists.

How many Continuing Education Credits can I claim?

One credit is awarded for each hour of CE activity.

How do I get the credits?

Accepted Answer

Once the workshop is completed, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. Both CPA and CCPA require full attendance to obtain CE credits.

What is the mode of delivery of this workshop?

To ensure confidentiality and privacy in our workshops, OPTI uses ZOOM for Healthcare for its online virtual training.  Zoom for Healthcare is PIPEDA and PHIPA compliant.
