UDI is “all in for downtown” and it is time for a pulse check. How is Edmonton doing with safety, cleanliness, and transformative projects in the city’s core? Join downtown leaders for a conversation on downtown revitalization progress, and the actions and strategies needed to make it a thriving, inviting, and economically prosperous place. Where has our community demonstrated tremendous leadership, and where has downtown Edmonton fallen short? Which projects might we collaborate on and where do we place our focus now and into the future? This conversation hopes to point us collectively in the right direction.

Moderated by Kevin McKee (Pangman Development Corp.), this panel will convene a diverse range of downtown leaders.

The Urban Development Institute-Edmonton Metro is a non-profit, member-driven organization representing leaders in the real estate industry in all communities throughout the Edmonton Metropolitan region. Our members are development companies and the professionals involved in our industry, including planners, surveyors, landscape architects, engineers, contractors, finance managers, and others. Together with municipalities who regulate and set policy related to land use, we are important city builders. We build the communities where people live, the roads they travel, the buildings they work in, and the parks where families gather.
