Please join us for a virtual roundtable discussion to gather your feedback on the proposed improvements on January 13, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm EST.

To support the Government’s agenda, and as outlined in the Red Tape Review Progress Report, DFO is taking steps to improve regulatory efficiency by proposing amendments to the Authorizations Concerning Fish and Fish Habitat Protection Regulations (Authorizations Regulations) to right-size its regulatory program.

All other questions relating to the proposed changes should be directed to the FFHPP inbox. Written comments and feedback on the proposals can be sent to the FFHPP inbox and will be accepted until January 30, 2026.
