This 15-hour, five-module online workshop covers the essential elements on four of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy’s core skills, plus a special module on facilitating effective skills training groups.

Participants will have the opportunity to practice individual skills during each training module and learn through lecture, role-plays, and discussions that illustrate specific teaching points. In addition to learning the skills above, participants will be encouraged to integrate these core skills into their weekly practice, through reflective tasks assigned outside of class and participation in discussions both in class and online.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This workshop targets health care professionals with basic knowledge of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), specifically those who are interested in learning how to implement DBT skills training either as an adjunct to other treatment approaches, or within the context of a comprehensive DBT program.

Participants should have completed DBT Foundations or have basic DBT experience.
