Often referred to as the Annual General Meeting, Synod is the governing body of the Diocese; made up of all the licensed clergy, lay representatives of all the parishes, ex officio members, and the bishop.

All members of the community are welcome to join the opening Eucharist Thursday, October 20 at 7pm at Christ Church Cathedral, where the Bishop will be delivering his Address.

The business session of Synod will take place Friday and Saturday at the St. Elias Conference & Banquet Centre.

Thursday, October 20 Christ Church Cathedral - 414 Sparks Street, Ottawa 7:00 pm: Opening Eucharist

Friday, October 21 St. Elias Conference & Banquet Centre - 750 Ridgewood Avenue, Ottawa 7:15 am: Registration opens 9:00 am: Synod in session

Saturday, October 22 St. Elias Conference & Banquet Centre - 750 Ridgewood Avenue, Ottawa 9:00 am: Synod in session
