Djely Tapa est le nom de scène de Sountougoumba Diarra, une musicienne maliano-canadienne qui se produit et enregistre à la fois comme artiste solo et comme leader du groupe afrobeat Afrikana Soul Sister. Son album solo Barokan a remporté le Prix Juno de l’album de musique du monde de l’année lors de la cérémonie des Prix Juno de 2020.

Djely Tapa is the stage name of Sountougoumba Diarra, a Malian-Canadian musician, who performs and records both as a solo artist, and as leader of the Afrobeat group Afrikana Soul Sister. Her solo album Barokan won the Juno Award for World Music Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2020.
