After tooth extraction, bone resorption of varying amounts always occurs as the edentulous site of the alveolar process undergoes both qualitative and quantitative changes. This resorption may lead to aesthetic and functional disadvantages that can compromise future implant placement.
Dr. Cardaropoli will help the attendees navigate the hard questions of what to do before you extract the tooth and the possibilities of treatment afterwards, everything from immediate placement with immediate provisionalization to delayed placement and what to put into the socket. This is an especially relevant topic facing dentists today, presented by a world leader in regeneration right here in London.
Day 1 will consist of an all day lecture from 8am-4pm
Day 2 will be a hands-on from 8am-12pm - Limited to 27 participants

Alveolar Ridge and Socket Preservation Techniques for Implant Therapy
Key Messages:
- Ridge Preservation is able to compensate for major marginal bone remodeling following tooth extraction
- “Open-healing” helps in gaining more keratinized tissue, defining a minimally invasive approach.
- Implant placement following Ridge Preservation avoids additional bone augmentation procedures
Take part in this informative lecture with the added benefit of a hands-on approach using high quality biomaterials designed to help you succeed.
We look forward to seeing you there!
note: if you would like to bring a staff member to the hands-on component, please purchase 1 ticket for yourself and 1 for your staff member. Staff members may shadow you but will not be given their own hands-on components
