Earth Day Community Clean Up

Sustainable Waterloo Region is hosting an Earth Day Community Cleanup at evolv1 to reduce waste and plastic pollution, improve habitats, and prevent harm to wildlife and humans. Cleaning up garbage is a collective effort, and together we can make such an impact!

Attending the Event:

• You can arrive any time after 10:00am - we are hoping to start the clean up around 10:30am!
• To help reduce our carbon footprint this Earth Day, we are encouraging attendees to bike, walk, carpool, or use public transit! For options of the above, please visit the following links:

What to Expect:

• Light refreshments including coffee, tea, snacks - which will include different dietary options.
• Gloves and garbage bags provided.
• To reduce our waste, all refreshments will be zero-waste, and so we request every attendee bring their own water bottle as well as a reusable mug if you wish to have coffee or tea.

Who Should Attend:

• Anyone who is a part of the SWR community or Waterloo Region as a whole! We will take any and all hands on deck.
