EHYC Sailpast 2024

You are cordially invited to attend the annual EHYC Sailpast on Saturday May 4. This is the official opening day of the boating season.

In a few changes to previous years, we ask members to register for the event by Wednesday May 1st so we can cater accordingly. We are limited to 100 people in the clubhouse as stipulated on our liquor license. Because of this, please limit your invited guests to 4 and include in your registration. There will be an upscale ploughman's lunch provided for those who have registered.

SCHEDULE

• 10:30AM Coffee and Pastry
• Pickup a new burgee, EHYC clothing, membership cards and parking passes
• 11:30AM Skippers meeting in the clubhouse.
• 11:55AM Assemble on your boat for imminent departure
• 12 NOON Cannon signal to clear the harbour
• Commodore anchors his ship (Sail La Vie)
• Order of Vessels (from largest to smallest) EHYC Sailing Fleet followed by EHYC Power Fleet
• Vessels remain out of harbour until Sailpast has completed. Commodore is the first to return to the harbour.
• Boats will be on the water for 1.5-2 Hours.
• For the 100 who have registered, return to the clubhouse for a ploughman's lunch.
