Are you a refugee claimant looking to start working in Canada but not sure where to begin?
Join us for an interactive Employment Readiness Workshop delivered in Dari/Farsi. This session is designed to help you understand how the Canadian workplace works and how you can present yourself confidently to employers.
You will learn about:
- Canadian Workplace Culture – What to expect on the job, communication styles, and workplace norms
- Resumes & Cover Letters – How to highlight your skills and experience in a Canadian-style resume
- Job Search Strategies – Where and how to look for jobs effectively
- Interview Tips – How to prepare, what questions to expect, and how to make a good impression
- Networking – Building connections that can help you find work
- Overcoming Barriers – Practical tips for dealing with common challenges faced by refugee claimants
