Laurier Empty Bowls 2021
About this event
You’re invited to join the Robert Langen Art Gallery at Wilfrid Laurier University, the Food Bank of Waterloo Region and the Waterloo Potters’ Workshop in giving back to our community through this fundraising initiative. This charitable event is designed to raise awareness of hunger in our local community and help those struggling to put food on their tables.
Show your support by donating today to help alleviate hunger in our community!
100% of your donation will go directly to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Since 2011, the Laurier community and public participants have collectively raised $52,942, which provides 160,430 meals for families in the Waterloo Region.
Date and Time: Thursday, June 3 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Join us for an event with musical performances, a painting created live during the event, soup making demonstrations, and a silent auction (preview items). The painting will be available through the silent auction at the end of the event!
The Food Bank is working tirelessly to feed our community during the pandemic. Let's continue to help our neighbours in need and celebrate our giving community on June 3rd.
Note: the Zoom link will be sent upon event registration.
The first 125 registrants will be eligible to receive a bowl created by a member of the Waterloo Potters' Workshop.
