The Environmental Sampling Training Program is a Bureau Veritas introductory course designed for junior to intermediate environmental professionals, as well as anyone looking for a refresher on best practices and procedures for representative environmental sample collection.

For the first time, this program is being offered as a live, online, interactive training—bringing practical, real-world sampling guidance directly to you, without the need for travel.

This is a two-day webinar, totaling 3 hours, delivered in two 1.5-hour sessions. Presented by Dave Wallace, Technical Support Specialist.

What This Program Covers

This training provides a field-focused overview of the full lifecycle of an analytical project, including:

1. Project Planning
2. Sample Collection Procedures
3. Sample Submission
4. Sample Inspection
5. Sample Preparation & Analysis
6. Data Reporting
7. Data Interpretation

Content is delivered live by Bureau Veritas technical experts in an interactive, classroom-style format, with opportunities for questions and discussion throughout.

• Understand regulatory requirements and industry best practices for analytical project planning
• Collect representative environmental samples with confidence
• Understand the impact of sampling techniques on data quality
• Properly collect soil and water samples, including:

- F1/BTEX in soils

- VOCs in water

- Metals in water (dissolved phase)

- F2–F4 hydrocarbons in soil

• Correctly complete a Chain of Custody
• Properly pack coolers and submit samples to the laboratory
