Is the location accessible by public transit?

Yes! The closest bus stops are Route 20 Rideau stop 7040 (300 Pères-Blancs) and Route 20 St-Laurent stop 7040 (300 Pères-Blancs)

You need to pay $5 to secure your spot, and then at the end of the workshop, you can decide how much to pay (there is no minumum or maximum) based on how valuable the workshop was for you and what you can afford. You will be invited to pay by cash or etransfer. Know that whatever amount is fine.

Ephemeral Art Making Workshop -Labyrinth & Light

Overview

Collectively create a temporary site-specific labyrinth by stepping on snow and/or using natural materials that we collect from the location

Join us explore how we can find light during the dark days of winter while collectively building a labyrinth in community by stepping on the snow and/or using materials we find at the location. Learn about the origins of labyrinths and the history of environmental art along the way.

This workshop is for anyone who is curious to give it a try! No artistic skills required. Just bring your enthusiasm, and a willingness to explore the natural environment. Don't forget to dress for the weather!

Location: This workshop takes place at Vanier Richelieu Park. The meeting spot is in front of the Richelieu Community Centre at 300 Pères-Blancs Ave.
