Evidence and Models of Integrated Collaborative Care

January 10 - February 20, 2022

This Foundational course reviews the current evidence for integrated collaborative care, focusing on co-existing physical and mental health needs. Local models of integrated collaborative care are examined and participants gain skills, tools, and resources to propose a feasible model for implementation in their own practice setting.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive 7 MOC credits (Mainpro+ or Section 1).

Who Should Register?

All healthcare teams and providers (i.e. nurses, physicians, social workers, occupational and physical therapists etc.), as well as managers and administrators in primary care, hospital, long-term care and community care settings who are working with patients and families to address complex care issues, with a particular focus on co-existing mental and physical needs may register.

About the Medical Psychiatry Collaborative Care Certificate (MP3C)

MP3C is a University of Toronto accredited Continuing Professional Development Certificate program and has been approved as a Certificate of Completion in Continuing Professional Development for 39.0 hours.

All MP3C events (courses, workshops) are individually accredited for Section 1 credits and Mainpro+ hours, and can be taken based on interest without pursuing the certificate program.
