Activity description:

Do you enjoy winter walks and birdwatching?

Join us for FeederWatch, a community science project Les Amis de la montagne has proudly taken part in since 2005. The program involves counting and recording the birds seen at feeders in Mount Royal Park, helping researchers track their abundance and distribution.

The training includes an indoor presentation, followed by a short outdoor demonstration.

After you’ve followed the training session, you can come back to collect data monthly when it is most convenient for you.

Please note that the Mount-Royal Chalet is not accessible by car. You need to walk 5 or 10 minutes to get there.

Our thanks go to the City of Montréal, TD Bank Group and Rio Tinto for their support of our environmental stewardship activities.
