Event description

Description

The 2020 Feminist Art Fest creates a space that is celebratory, empowering, intellectually engaging, and provocative. This event is presented by the Feminist Art Collective (FAC), a 100% volunteer-based organization in Toronto that brings together artists, academics, and activists to consider feminist issues through art.

Join us Saturday March 7 for a day-long conference of keynote speakers, artists panels and performances in partnership with community organizations and participating artists.

Tickets are available for purchase on a sliding scale to ensure people from all economic backgrounds can attend the conference. For this pricing system to support the community, we ask that you select the ticket price that is most appropriate for yourself.

PWYC tickets are available at the door.

Volunteer - If you are interested in volunteering with us email: torontofac@gmail.com

Accessibility

ASL will be provided. If you are a community member who requires ASL, please contact us at torontofac@gmail.com so we can arrange for full support.

OCADU is fully wheelchair accessible.

We are asking attendees to attend FAC with a scent-free policy in mind. However, for folks who have MCS, OCADU is an art college and as such the environment will have a variety of chemical triggers in the building.

A quiet art making room will be available for anyone needing a break.

Gender neutral bathrooms will be clearly marked.

Any personal support worker who is working will receive free admission.

The closest accessible subway station to OCADU is Osgoode Station (more detailed directions are below in the FAQ).

If you have any other accessibility needs please contact us at torontofac@gmail.com.
