Overview
Spend your day exploring Bracebridge’s vibrant Main Street’s annual Fire and Ice Festival: tubing down the mainsheet, ice displays, fire performances, and more before driving north to wander through the illuminating Forest of Light Sandhill Nursery in Huntsville.

Ticket Collection:
When you arrive to the Fire and Ice Festival, stop in to Explorers’ Edge located right in Downtown Bracebridgeo to pick up your package, which includes all tickets and vouchers needed for the day.
Transportation & Getting Around:
This is a self-guided experience. Explorers’ Edge will provide the tickets and vouchers however, guests are responsible for their own transportation and will need a vehicle to travel between locations. Please note there is approximately a 25-minute drive between events (Fire and Ice Festival and Forest of Light)

What to Wear:
Most of the day is spent outdoors, so be sure to dress for winter weather. Warm layers and sturdy footwear are strongly recommended.

How do you want to get there?
Fire & Ice Festival
From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, spend the day enjoying the Downtown Bracebridge Fire & Ice Festival. Guests are encouraged to explore at their own pace, arrive early to experience the full festival, or ease into the day a little later. Throughout the day, take in the winter activities, performances, and attractions that bring Downtown Bracebridge to life. Included in the package is a voucher to enjoy a hot beverage at one of the local cafes in downtown Bracebridge: Baristah Coffee, Tea on the 45th and The Farm Store Muskoka who will have a signature Fire and Ice drink specials.
Forest of Lights
Beginning as early as 5:00 PM and continuing until 9:00 PM, guests will then drive north on HWY 11 to Huntsville, approximately a 25-minute drive to experience the Forest of Light at Sandhill Nursery. This immersive evening installation transforms the nursery’s grounds into an enchanting landscape of illuminated pathways and artistic light displays. As visitors wander through the forest, they’ll encounter storytelling elements and moments of reflection inspired by themes of time, nature, and memory. The Forest of Light provides a calm, magical contrast to the daytime excitement and serves as a serene close to a full day of Muskoka winter experiences.
