Are shelters allowed?

Yes. Both hard shell and soft shell shelters are allowed. All hard shell shelters must be inspected and tagged before they will be permitted to be used in the derby area.

Will I be able to used my debit card for purchases on ice?

As we cannot rely on cell service on the ice surface, please bring CASH for all purchases on ice.

How will I know if I will a prize? Where do I collect my prize?

All winners will be posted on our Facebook page throughout the day. Winners will also be posted at the Big White Tent. Please check this board to see if you are a winner before you leave the ice surface. All winners will be able to claim their prizes at the end of the derby by the Big White Tent.

When I catch a fish, how do I register it?

There will be 2 weigh shacks on the ice surface. They will have Canada flags on them. Please bring your lanyard with your live fish (in a pail of water) with yourself.

Can I fish anywhere on the day of the derby?

Accepted Answer

No. There is a designated area that fish must be caught in to be registered for FishOn.
