With signs that remote work will continue past COVID, experts predict that mental wellness, employee engagement, and the blur of work-life and home life are key challenges that Leaders need to address.

So, where do you start? How do you keep your employees focused, positive, and committed?

The key to thriving in 2021 will be to focus on creating a positive "Employee Experience."

According to a Hays Report (2021), 50% of employees consider leaving employers due to a significant disconnect. What does this mean? Those companies who invest in their employees, creating an experience where they feel valued and respected, will want to stay. In other words, to keep your employees, you need to re-evaluate and create a better Employee Experience in 2021.

She now focuses on growing SMBs who want to increase their revenue and build the culture to drive that. Her passions are culture, mentorship and work-life integration and she believes that delivering HR with heart and helping organizations put the heart and soul into their people will impact customers, the community and the world.

Malak Sidsky, DES, HMCC is the founder and president of Health Care Event Planning. She has a BSc in Biochemistry from McGill University and a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Toronto, as well as holding the Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate. She is fluently bilingual, Malak teaches Event Marketing in the School of Creative Industries at Conestoga College. Malak launched Healthy Corporate Canada in 2020, a wellness program designed to assist organizations and their employees during the pandemic, when the team is working remotely and not connecting in traditional ways.

Pari Nejatie leads People Bright's Executive Recruiting Services. She utilizes her 20+ years of experience and expertise in a global market across all industries to support and help secure the most talented people – in the shortest possible time. She is an employment law expert known for helping employers and employees navigate the legal challenges they face in the workplace, including matters relating to wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, human rights issues, workplace violence and harassment as well as the drafting of employment contracts and policies. Sara is a passionate advisor and educator. She has a clear-sighted objectivity and reputation for presenting the bottom line that clients find invaluable in a trusted advisor. She has represented clients in the Superior Courts as well as before the Human Rights Tribunal and the Ministry of Labour. Sara has co-authored papers for a variety of publications and has participated as a guest speaker at various corporate functions and professional development seminars.
