About the organizer

The Greater Vancouver Food Bank provides direct food assistance to approximately 1`0,000 individuals per month in Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and the North Shore. In addition, we provide food support to 120 Community Agency Partners (CAPs) in these communities, such as housing agencies, women and children's shelters and after-school programs, who then provide hot meals and snacks to thousands more. We focus heavily on providing the nutritious foods that food insecure individuals often can not afford and are proud that more than 50% of what we provide is fresh produce, dairy and protein.
