Forward Vision

Forward Vision is SFU Enactus' pillar event featuring a workshop and pitch competition dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship for social change, with a particular focus on UNSDG goals this year.

The Forward Vision Workshop is a 1-day event on Jan. 18th , 2026 that precedes the Forward Vision Competition 2 weeks later.

It features team building exercises and workshops designed to establish a mentorship that will guide and nurture competitors.

The competitors will be matched with their project mentors here. Additionally, students will be formally introduced to the format of the competition as well as the breakdown of the competition day.

Forward Vision is a full-day event happening on Feb 1st, 2026 designed to challenge students to pitch the innovative projects they've been working on in a Dragons’ Den-style competition.

As part of the Negotiation Piece, students will present their projects to a panel of judges, beginning with an “ask” (e.g., $100,000 in exchange for 10%). The judges will assess the presentation and negotiate with the participants to reach a fair deal.
