The Fourth Annual Journeys of Migration event will be held on Thursday, November 24, 2016.
This year’s Journeys of Migration event will tell the story of refugees who have made London their home. This includes the family of six children and their mother who were sponsored by the Western Social Science Refugee Sponsorship Fund, and came to London in April 2016. Their story would not have been possible without the help and support of many people in our community who cared enough to come together to make the journey possible. Journeys of Migration will tell their story – the story of the resilience of refugees and the story of the people of London, Ontario who stepped up to make a dream a reality. It is a story of struggles and achievements, challenges and successes, fear and joy, as told by the refugees and those who have been supporting them in their new home.
