Description:
This is designed to help participants thrive during the colder, darker months by focusing on holistic well-being. Through a blend of education, interactive activities, and practical tools, the workshop explores strategies for maintaining physical health, emotional balance, and social connection throughout winter. Topics include nutrition, movement, sleep hygiene, stress management, and ways to stay energized and positive despite seasonal challenges.
Objectives:
- Support participants in building resilience and wellness during winter.
- Covers lifestyle practices (exercise, diet, sleep), mental health strategies (mindfulness, stress reduction), and community-building activities.
- Interactive discussions, guided exercises, and take-home resources for ongoing self-care.
- Participants leave with personalized action plans and practical tools to sustain their health and happiness during the winter season.
Eligibility:
- Permanent Residents or Protected Persons (e.g., Conventional Refugees)
- Resident in Canada
- Completion of our intake form is mandatory.
