Overview
Full Moon Drumming Fire Hike & Ceremony
Date: Saturday, January 3rd, 2026
Time: 5:00 PM
Location: We will meet at the Sheep River Library in Diamond Valley. From there we will convoy and carpool to our destination which is approximately 15 minutes away.
Join us for an enchanting evening under the full moon at our Full Moon Drumming Fire Hike, co-hosted by Sandy of Solar Power Health and Gita of Infinite Rhythms. This unique experience combines the beauty of nature with the rhythms of community and mindfulness.
What to Expect:The evening begins with a short mindful forest hike, where you will soak in breathtaking mountain views as we make our way to our serene destination. Once we arrive, we’ll gather for a communal dinner in nature, allowing time to unwind and connect with each other. As night falls, we’ll circle around the fire for a special session led by professional Astrologer Sandy, who will guide us through the insights of Full Moon Astrology. Following this enlightening experience, Gita will lead an incredible Drum Circle, where everyone can join in the rhythm of the night. We provide all the drums, but feel free to bring your own if you have one!
What to Bring:
- A backpack with layers to keep warm
- Your own dinner and drinks
- Something to sit on, like a blanket or hiking seat
- Extra water to help put the fire out afterwards
- A reusable grocery bag for carrying firewood (we'll each carry a log or two)
Important: Sandy will need your Birth Time, Birth Location, and Birth Date for the Astrology portion of the evening.
This event is designed to be accessible, so don’t worry if you’re new to hiking; we choose locations that are easy for everyone to reach.
About Your Hosts: Gita is a certified Drum Circle Facilitator, Sylvotherapist, and the founder of the non-profit Sheep River Ramblers Hiking Club. Sandy is a seasoned facilitator of yoga and wellness retreats around the globe, an herbalist, astrologer, and ceremony guide.
