Do I need a Park permit?

Anywhere in Algonquin Park, you need a Park permit, issued by Ontario Parks. All tour participants are independently responsible for all parking permits and fees. Waaseyaa Cultural Tours denies any responsibility related to parking and participant transportation.

Do I need sturdy shoes?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We strongly, strongly suggest that all clients wear warm winter boots with reliable grip. If you use hiking poles, feel free to bring them! Note that we will be walking both on groomed trails and packed, single-file footpaths.

Do I need to dress warm?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Please dress warm. We'll be walking a long distance, but we will be stopping to chat here and there. Dress in as many layers as you need to be warm and cozy.

Can my dog come?

Accepted Answer

We LOVE dogs. If your dog is friendly and comfortable around other dogs and in a crowd, we'd really love to have them to join us. But, for the comfort of all, we do ask that they remain on a leash at all times.
