In this class you will learn woodworking from the very start, from the types and cuts of lumber, to grading it, to calculating what you need, and much more. Using both power and hand tools, you will make a small table including some of your own design preferences. Elements of the workshop include learning the essentials of planing, sawing, classic joinery and how to achieve a finish that is smooth and durable.

This workshop is 10 full day sessions once weekly. Each day will start at 9 am and end at around 4:00 pm. The workshop will be held at Intersections Wood Collaborative at 299 10th Street E., Owen Sound.

Suitable for beginner and novice woodworkers.

Workshop Cost: $1000. Material cost TBA, payable to instructor.
