FYI 2020 Pre-Event - “How to be the CEO of Your Life“

About the workshop

How to be the CEO of Your Life is a workshop organized by Community Economic Development and Employability Corporation (CEDEC). It will show youth how to take control of their professional journey and their future by learning how to craft a succinct and confident personal pitch that they can use to highlight their accomplishments and skills at networking events or career fairs. In this workshop they will discover and explore their entrepreneurial skills and develop a personal elevator pitch.

This workshop is in collaboration with the Forum for Youth Insights: Career and Education Orientations for the post-Covid-19 World, which will be taking place online on October 25th from 1PM to 4 PM.

About the Forum for Youth Insights

Organised by the Quebec English-Speaking Research Networks (QUESCREN), Youth 4 Youth Quebec (Y4Y) and the Black Community Resource Centre (BCRC), the Forum for Youth Insights is a chance for youth to convene to hear insights from industry experts in the sectors of Health, Vocational Education, Technology and the Arts. Attendees will be able to participate in collaborative workshops where they will share their insights on barriers they have encountered in their career or educational paths, and how these may be overcome.
