Gallery 1065 Poetry Open Mic: Portrayals

By good futures collective

Overview

Please join us on January 16th to listen and share poems about what it means to represent another or ourselves, through our faces & bodies.

Our January Poetry Open Mic will again be held in collaboration with Gallery 1065, now also known as the National Portrait Gallery of Canada (of Bloorcourt). And so, January's theme is Portrayals.
What can we learn when we portray another? What can we learn from another's portrait? From our own? Who and what is behind what we're seeing? What aren't we seeing?

Please join us on Friday January 16th to view the portrait gallery, and listen and share poems. Sign up for a 5 minute slot starting at 6 pm. Readings begin at 6:30.

Poets of all backgrounds welcome.
