This concert is part of the FREE Ochsfest festival taking place at the same venue -- Southminster United Church -- from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, Dec. 10. For information about this free, participatory, community-focused festival, see www.ochsfest.ca. Ochsfest is named in memory of the late American topical songwriter, Phil Ochs (1940-1976). The core Ochsfest themes are inclusion, empathy and human rights.

OCHSFEST INFORMATION

At 10:00 am, Garnet and Lynne will be guests on Chris White's "Canadian Spaces" program in a live remote broadcast from Ochsfest. Tune in to hear them chat and perform live on CKCU FM 93.1 and www.ckcufm.com, or catch the show later in CKCU's "On Demand" archive at www.ckcufm.com/schedule.

Folkbooth, a new event videostreaming service, will broadcast LIVE VIDEO of the "Canadian Spaces" interview with Garnet and Lynne on two new platforms: Facebook Live (www.facebook.com/folkbooth) and the smartphone app available at www.folkbooth.ca, available for Android and iOS devices. All Folkbooth broadcasts are archived for future viewing, commenting and sharing.

NOTE: There is a FREE BOOK LAUNCH at Ochsfest 1:00 pm featuring both Garnet Rogers ("Night Drive: Travels with My Brother", 750 pages, 2016) and Lynne Hanson ("friday haiku", 60 pages, 2016). The book launch is presented in conjunction with the Ottawa International Writers Festival and Perfect Books.
