Overview

About the session
Most engineering students receive some instruction on team functioning, leadership, and perhaps management conundrums. Power and influence underlie these group dynamics, yet are rarely examined. This workshop will: 1) outline various forms of power and influence; 2) discuss how power can be created, used, and enhanced; and 3) give relevant examples, discussion, and resources.
