Get Discovered: How to Show Your Work on Instagram

COMMUNICATION & DIGITAL CAPABILITIES

ZOOM VIDEO CONFERENCE SESSION - (Link will be sent via email to all participants). PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK/ SPAM MAIL FOR THE LINK if it is not in your email on the day of the event.

Description:

People only need a few seconds on your Instagram feed to get an idea of what you do. That’s why Instagram is a fantastic platform for artists and creatives with a desire to showcase their work and attract more visitors, clients, and partners to their website. In this workshop, you will learn the secrets to turn your Instagram account into a professional and artistic profile, discover new ideas to build a promotional plan for your portfolio, and create your strategy to better sell your work. Prior knowledge is not required to attend this session, only your passion, artistic projects, or pieces of content to start shaping your feed and stories.

Facilitators: Diana Viola, Digital Media Strategist

Passionate about content creation and personal branding, my focus as a communications professional is to build strategic digital communities by igniting purpose, quality, and longevity through storytelling. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Communications & Journalism and consider myself a lifelong learner committed to staying au courant with the latest digital trends and new branding strategies. Recently, I won the RBC Future Launch Scholarship to advance my skills in SEO & SEM, and complement my skills in paid & organic Social Media Marketing.

A workshop facilitator recognized for empowering participants to find their voice to tell their stories, articulate their unique value proposition and establish their personal brand online. I cultivate authentic connections, both on- and offline, to shape memorable brands with high impact.
