Goalie Session With OLY Charline Labonte - Presented By ESSO
Overview
Come warmed up and ready to practice.
Session will work on positioning drills, save techniques & game situations. Practice maintaining an optimal stance and angling your body to cover shooting lanes effectively.
Save techniques-work on the butterfly stance, glove saves, and stick saves, facing different shot types to challenge your reaction times. Drills may include rapid-fire shooting, where you take multiple shots from various angles, forcing the goalie to stay alert and agile.
Game-like situations- breakaways and facing multiple shooters, helping you build confidence and decision-making skills under pressure. Communication with defensemen is emphasized, teaching goalies how to direct plays and anticipate offensive movements.
