Good Grief Walking

Good Grief Walking

By Airdrie and District Hospice Society

Overview

An 8-week program that combines gentle walking with reflection and sharing, designed to support adults grieving the loss of a loved one.

Walking is an act of courage. Each week follows one of four core themes to deepen reflection and connection. This program is offered as a registered group to ensure continuity, trust, and support among participants.

Volunteers and facilitators guide each walk, ensuring safety, reflection, and connection throughout the journey.

These walks are not therapy. They are companionship in motion. Complimentary coffee and conversation to follow, if desired.

Every Tuesday, starting January 13, 2026 (9:45 am), participants are to meet at Genesis Place (South Field House entrance) for eight weeks. Weather permitting, walks will be outside or indoors at Genesis Place.
