Embark on a one-of-a-kind adventure aboard a historic steam locomotive and discover the best of Summerland’s Bottleneck Drive wineries, cideries, craft breweries, and distilleries.

This enchanting afternoon event features a welcome tasting reception followed by a two-hour scenic journey through the picturesque countryside of Summerland, BC, traveling along the only preserved and operational section of the Kettle Valley Railway.

Savour exceptional local beverages, gourmet bites, and live music as you soak in the breathtaking views and timeless charm of this truly unique experience!

Reception Before Departure: Kick off the afternoon with our one-hour main tasting reception featuring gourmet appetizers, Summerland’s finest wines, ciders, craft beers and premium spirits, all set to the rhythm of live local music.

Assigned Seating: To ensure you can relax and enjoy the ride with your friends, we’ve arranged for assigned seating aboard the train.

Onboard Tastings: Sit back, relax, and take in the breathtaking Summerland valley views as Bottleneck Drive members continue to offer tastings of the region’s finest beverages onboard the train during your journey to and from the iconic Trout Creek Trestle Bridge.

Exclusive Shopping: Take home a taste of the day with a visit to The Vault Liquor Merchants’ on-site store, where you can purchase your favourite wines, ciders, craft beers and premium spirits to enjoy later.

Complimentary All-Access Pass: From June 18 to June 22, 2026, enjoy a Complimentary All-Access Pass, entitling you to drop in at participating Bottleneck Drive establishments for a quick tasting—on us! Just show your event ticket's e-receipt and enjoy a tasting at as many locations as you’d like.

Ticket Details: Price is $169 per person, plus GST and fees. Includes a one-hour welcome reception, a scenic return steam train ride with assigned seating, wine, cider, craft beers, premium spirits, appetizers and dessert, a scenic break at a trestle bridge, live music, and your All-Access Pass as described.
