Gulf of Georgia Cannery - Photo Walk

Members of the New Westminster Photography Club will be meeting at the Cannery for a tour and photo exploration.

Walk back in time through one of B.C.’s historic treasures. Shafts of light, weathered wood, and industrial pipes create striking scenes for storytelling through your lens.

No restrictions on hand-held Photography. The building is full of dreamy light, artifacts from the days of canning along with coloured steel pipes and other equipment.

If you are interested in joining us, send an email to outings@nwphoto.org to get the exact meetup time and place. Anyone who wishes to join us will be asked to sign a waiver of liability before the event starts. You will be responsible to pay your own entry fees.

NOTE: Even though the venue is technically indoors, it is NOT HEATED. Dress as if you were going on an outdoor shoot.
