Stories that Spark Change 📖🚀

Thursday, April 23rd, 2026

Our National Hackergal Hackathon is back for the 15th time! This year, join hundreds of Hackergal Club Facilitators, girls* and gender-diverse learners in grades 6-9 across Canada in April 2026 as we create ✨Stories That Spark Change ✨, and code for a brighter future!

About This Year's Theme

Register Before March 31st, 2026!

Stories are everywhere - here’s a chance to tell yours through code! This year, we’re inviting learners across Canada to design and create content that goes beyond sharing facts.

Across the world, digital content has become more than just information sharing. It’s a powerful tool to connect, inspire, and empower communities. Interactive websites, infographics, blogs, and social media not only bring people together, but also build essential digital skills for the future.

On April 23rd, 2026, Hackergal Clubs from across the country will come together to craft powerful stories that inspire action, ignite change, and re-design futures. The coding mission related to the theme will only be revealed on the day itself, to spark learners’ creativity and critical thinking around coding and tech!
