Event description
These sessions, hosted by facilitator Hannah, will allow participants to express themselves through dance and movement.

About this Event

Thanks to generous support from the Red Cross of Canada and Employment and Social Development Canada (the Government of Canada), we are offering online social groups in March to help foster connection during COVID-19.

These sessions, hosted by facilitator Hannah, will allow participants to express themselves through dance and movement. No dance experience required!

Sessions for all ages (5-19) are Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m.

Questions for participants (please put your responses under xx when you register):

  1. Are there any physical restrictions that the facilitator should be aware of (ie. mobility restrictions, wheelchair, walker user, etc)?
  2. Do you have a song recommendation? You can help make connections by letting the facilitator know what songs make you excited and engaged!
  3. How do you communicate (ie. verbal, signs, AAC device, etc)? Please have this accessible during the session so that you can share with us if you feel comfortable to do so!

Please make sure to sign up to each date individually. If you are unable to attend the session, just let us know as soon as possible, so that we can allow access to a registrant of the waitlist.

It's all part of our broader schedule of social groups for students with disabilities and complex learners.

See other available sessions and register by going to our website.

What's happening?

  • Fun interest-based social groups running throughout March
  • Qualified facilitators with current criminal record check
  • ASL and captioning starting in the second week
  • Groups for students with disabilities and complex learners
