An ambulatory and award-winning theatrical tour through the historic and haunted streets of St. John's downtown core, with old-fashioned storytelling at its dramatic and spine-tingling best. Descend into the dark underbelly of St. John's and explore its murderous history and paranormal legacy.
The 2023 Haunted Hike is made up of our guides' favourite stories from our previous hikes. Tours last 75 mins, and are suitable for ages 8+.
Newfoundland weather can be hard to predict, but the Hike will go ahead regardless of drizzle, cold, and especially fog! We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a tour in extreme weather conditions. Dress appropriately, wear comfortable walking shoes, and come with a willingness to believe.

How difficult is the Haunted Hike?
The Hike includes hills, stairs, and curbs, and so is not suitable for wheelchairs, scooters, or walkers. The streets of downtown St. John's are hilly and twisty, so expect some walking up and down, though you never walk more than 2-3 blocks without stopping to hear a spooky tale.
