Heat Pump Party

Welcome to the Heat Pump Party!

Each of the monthly Heat Pump Parties will last 90 minutes and provide those interested with an opportunity to learn from heat pump owners and an expert. Refreshments will be served. Space is limited so register asap for one of these free events. (If this month's Party is fully booked, sign up for an upcoming event. You need not live in the Harbord Village. Everyone is welcome. Once you register, you will receive the address of the home where the Heat Pump Party is taking place.

Heat pumps replace both gas furnaces and air conditioners and provide heating and cooling more efficiently. Very common in Europe, adoption here in Canada has been slower, but today most heating/cooling companies now promote them. The big challenge is that when a gas furnace dies - usually on a cold winter day - the only same-day replacement is another gas furnace. If your gas furnace is 10+ years old, best to get quotes now on a heat pump, and consider making the switch sooner than later.

Note: this party is especially suited to homeowners who have radiators rather than ducts.
