Heidelberg Improv Comedy In English- Open Stage!

Join us for an open stage improv show where you can join on stage and perform OR simply sit back and be entertained by hilarious unscripted comedy!

The show will be a completely made-up-on-the-spot, never-to-be-performed-again show and inspired by audience suggestions! Expect a mixture of shortform games and a couple of open ended scenes. Making it all up on the spot is what improv is all about, and the audience can even help shape the story, in return, the perfromers promise to offer the audience plenty of laughs through their success and glorious failures! Dan Belkin is a comedian and improviser who first started performing in Canada, and now tours as a stand up comedian and improviser all across Europe. He has trained with the Second City Improv program in Toronto, and has since perfromed with various groups in Berlin, Amsterdam, Vienna, Prague, Luxembourg and more! As a comedian he tours with his comedic advice show Fake Freuds in over 30 cities across Europe. He has appeared on Canada Laughs on Sirius XM, RTL TV, the American Comedy Tour in Switzerland , and multiple Fringe Festivals.

I’m not that experienced with improv. What if I am not good? Don’t worry! An open stage is not meant to be a fully professional and perfect performance. There is no pressure to be good or funny or clever - it is an opportunity to practise, meet new people and most of all have fun!

Do I have to get up and perform? Nope, if you prefer to watch and support the other improvisors from the audience that is perfectly fine!
