Holiday Art Workshop for Adults - Home Decor Dala Horse
Overview
Holiday Art Workshop - Home Decor Scandinavian Dala Horse
Cozy Café • Toronto • Teens 12+ & Adults • All Levels
Celebrate the holiday season in a warm, inviting café setting and create your own Scandinavian home décor piece — the iconic Dala horse.
The Dala horse, a traditional hand-carved wooden figure from 17th-century Dalarna, Sweden, has become a national symbol of strength, good fortune, and craftsmanship. As we approach 2026 — the Year of the Horse — this workshop is the perfect way to welcome creativity, luck, and joyful energy into the new year.
Under the guidance of artist Kate Medvedok, you will paint a wooden Dala horse using acrylics and markers, learning simple decorative patterns and step-by-step techniques.
All supplies are provided, and your finished Dala horse will become a charming piece of holiday décor or a heartfelt handmade gift.
