Holy Hurt: Mending Wounds, Embodying Healing -- Lecture and Workshop
Overview
Welcome to Holy Hurt! Join us in January 2026 for a transformative experience as psychologist Hillary McBride, author of Holy Hurt, explores the wounds of spiritual trauma and what it takes to heal.
This package includes:
Holy Hurt Evening Lecture, Sunday, January 2, 6:30 pm. The evening will include a talk by Hillary, a panel discussion and audience Q&A, followed by a reception and book-signing.
Holy Hurt Workshop, Monday, January 26, 8:30 am-4:30 pm. McBride will lead an intensive in-person training session for therapists, spiritual care workers, and trained lay persons who work with those who have experienced spiritual harm. While there will be some therapeutic time given for participants, the primary focus will be on how to help others heal and rebuild a spirituality that heals rather than damages. Lunch and coffee breaks will be provided.
There are a limited number of seats available for the workshop, so sign up early!
