Homegrown Mississauga Winter Season Indoor Growing Workshop
Overview
Keep your green thumb active this winter by growing plants indoors. This “Winter Season Indoor Growing” workshop is the fourth and final workshop in the Homegrown Mississauga gardening series.
Learn about indoor growing techniques, such as sprouting, as well as seed selection and garden planning to support your outdoor gardening next spring. This in-person workshop is great for residents with limited or no gardening experience. Everyone is welcome! Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
The workshop will include a hands-on indoor growing and sprouting activity.
The same “Winter Season Indoor Growing” workshop will run at four different locations and dates in November and December.
· Monday, November 17 at the Malton Community Centre from 5:30-7 p.m.
· Monday, November 24 at the Burnhamthorpe Library from 5:30-7 p.m.
· Monday, December 1 at the Meadowvale Community Centre from 5:30-7 p.m.
· Monday, December 8 at the Mississauga Valley Community Centre from 5:30-7 p.m.
