For over 25 years J Feud has been an integral part of the underground music scene on Vancouver Island. He has held down numerous weekly and monthly residencies and regularly opens clubs and closes parties for the biggest names in the business.James has shared the centre stage with international artists at Soundwave, V.E.M.F., Mandarina Festival (MEX), Festivus and performed at Northwest House Music Conference (USA), Tall Tree Music Festival, Resonance, The Kluth, Jump Ship and Rifflandia to mention a few.J Feud has released an EP on Canada’s Kiko Records and singles on Black Bug Recordings, Rennie Foster’s RF label, Ginkgo Music (RO) and Mandarina Records (MEX), with remixes and other releases with his project with John Glassey as Amaurotic on labels such as Tilted Recordings and many more. Most recently collaborating with James Teej on a dubbed out techy house EP to soon be released on Teej’s label Sleeping Language.

Sleeping language/DeepEnd/Tilted / Zen loungeLacey has been performing music since the age of 11 and DJing since 1999 so his passion for music and goes far back. Now an accomplished DJ with decades of experience he has played a plethora of events, tailoring different sounds and energy levels to keep the dance floor moving and still make it unique. Originally a guitar based musican he now finds ways to make them work together, in creating original material.
He has previously remixed Andy Clockwork on Tilted records, and has recently teamed up with accomplished producer James Teej on his new record label Sleeping language to be released in the future. Making his Houseworx debut, don't miss him!

KEMELEON :: AKA SPLAN

Kemeleon aka Splan is a Canadian electronic music DJ originally hailing from Stratford, Ontario now based on Vancouver Island. Born Kevin Michael Tafts in 1981, Kemeleon has been heavily fueled by his passion and penchant for all things underground for over 27 years. After purchasing his first pair of decks in 1998, he later went on to graduate from the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology with a degree in audio engineering. Equal parts technical precision and spirited expression, his style threads deep melodic house and bass-driving techno together with focus and intention and his selections are always very mindfully arranged. It is his ability to actually rearrange the mindings of his audience and put them in a state of wonder, shock and awe that makes him one to catch this year. He brings the heaters and he also brings straight joy to the dancefloor. Expect to see more from Kemeleon moving forward!

CHRISTOPH MAITLAND ::

Short Fuse Recordings :: HouseworxChristoph Maitland is an award winning DJ, music producer and promoter out of Victoria, Canada for the last 25 years. Not one to limit himself by genre, his productions explore Melodic House & Techno, House, Deep House, , Synthwave, Breakbeat, Drum & Bass, Nu Disco and Electronic. As a producer he has heard his work played on BBC Radio 1 by Annie Nightingale, be featured as the main demo song for FL Studio 9, and charted in the Beatport top 100 of multiple genres. His debut album “There's A Light” was released in Spring 2024 and features remixes from 15 Western Canadian producers. He has been remixed by artists such as Toronto Is Broken, Myagi, Jon Delerious, Rennie Foster, Robosapiens, Duane Barry, Joel West, JGarrett, DJ Soo, Michael Beggs, Dark Arps and many more. As a DJ he first gained popularity in the early 2000s through his ability to move dance floors with an arsenal of seamless mixing and DJ tricks. After winning a DJ competition he went on to become club resident at Hush, a Canadian underground institution from 2002 - 2014 where he shared stages with the biggest names in electronic music like Kaskade, Steve Angello, Above & Beyond, Mark Farina, Johnny Fiasco, Dylan Rhymes and Meat Katie to name a few. He now holds residency at his own night Houseworx, at Lucky Bar, Victoria.
