How To Care, What To Say

By Marilyn Moldowan RN, BScN

Overview

Led by experienced palliative care nurses, this event is dedicated to fostering open, authentic dialogue about death and dying.

Please join us for an afternoon of gentle discussion about death and dying. We welcome you with a light lunch and a comfortable settling into the space to begin answering some of these concerns:

"I just don't know what to say."

"How can I do this better?"

"I wish I felt less helpless right now."

If you are someone who has ever wanted to have a conversation but didn't know how to begin, this afternoon may just be what you need to feel more comfortable talking about death and dying.

This session takes a holistic approach to death and dying, and is meant to normalize the conversation. We provide a safe, welcoming environment for attendees to explore the topic. Curiosity is encouraged, no question is off the table and you'll learn how nature takes care of us as we proceed towards a natural death.

You will be provided with resources to enhance your learning.
